The honored tradition of performing Handel's 弥赛亚 is a regular December event for the St. 阿格尼斯/斯特雷克耶稣会混合唱诗班. 杰里米·伍德, and 金伯利 门多萨 direct the students in the Christmas Section of 弥赛亚, 由100多名歌手组成的合唱团. The challenging solos are all performed by students and the exuberant Choruses are sung by the 混声合唱. Private Vocal Instruction allows students an opportunity to receive instruction on a one-to-one basis. 与圣. 艾格尼丝学院 Choral program, this course provides a total instructional program in music. Students receive an in-depth study on vocal technique, 的姿势, 呼吸, 用语, 外语, and basic music theory as well as performance and audition techniques and opportunities. Students perform voice juries in Fall and Spring and sing in a Vocal Recital at the conclusion of the spring semester. Students meet with the instructor for at least 30 minutes each week.
